Today we finished our first prototype of a seven segment display. The digit consists of an adressable RGB LED strip. Adressable in this case means that each LED on the strip can be controlled individually from a program. A self written library performs this indiviudal controlling in the background, so we solely need to enter a number in the main program. With the controlling out of the way it was time to test which color suits this application best. Now we could finally determine wether the brightness and the size of the digit was chosen well enough.
